Founded in London in 2009, Sofar brings guests and artists together at unique venues, without the distractions that are usually abundant at other live performances. Sofar shows begin as a secret – guests take part in 3 nameless performances in undisclosed locations, which are hosted by community members in every day places , from living rooms and rooftops to traditional commerce shops. Through the transformation of these places into captivating venues, Sofar works as a platform for artists to engage with audiences all around the world.
