This area was designed to enhance and inspire creativity, through the combination and interactivity between materials and the virtual world, and it was financed by FINSA, a company part of KATCH_e's Portuguese stakeholders network. WOW's main goal is to become a centre for wood (re)interpretation and a bridge between FINSA and the academic world, thus contributing towards creation, innovation and research.
Students, along with their lecturers and KATCH_e members – particularly Teresa Franqueira and Silvina Santana – experienced the opportunity of interacting with several fields of WOW, from the educational area, the showroom or the coworking area to the logistics platform, broadening their knowledge on developing projects and the business production cycle, and, above all the different ways of integrating wood in project development.
